Training
We are very proud of the excellent teams developing at Winton. Most successful training is frequently gained through effective pairing of individuals on jobs, however even the really old and experienced members are happy to learn new tricks! The teams regularly meet and generate fresh ideas to ensure we provide high quality products and high standards of hospitality.

Nurturing Enthusiasm
The usual operational aspects of each job, such as Health and Safety naturally feature in reviews. Of greater interest and emphasis, however, is the need to understand the inter-related purposes of each job and to capture and share enthusiasm throughout. This has proven to be a helpful motivator. All of the jobs on Winton combine an element of stewardship. The challenges for service are no smaller when dealing with people than with the environment; both can answer back!

Careers
We have invested in our teams since we hope they will stay and develop. Career programmes are worked on gradually and pragmatically, but on the premise that the better training an individual receives, the more that person is able to offer the Estate.
