Winton House has been a family home and entertainment venue for Lords, Ladies, Lads and Lassies for over 500 years, and is the perfect place to host a civilized stag party or hen party! And, we're just 25 minutes from Edinburgh city centre.

Join us for half a day, a full day or a whole weekend, depending on your requirements, and experience countryside pursuits at their very best.

With accommodation across seven public rooms including our medieval cellar, unique 17th century library and delectable 19th century drawing room, Winton can accommodate groups from 10 to 84 and can offer a huge range of activities including clay pigeon shooting, golf, Champagne and cupcake tasting, whisky tasting, husky dog racing, highland games, Winton combat challenge, dog and duck herding and fencing.

Should the castle be a wee bit out of your budget, we also have two huge, 4 and 5 star, self catering houses within walking distance of Winton House. These country houses sleep up to 10 to 12 each, both with access to all the estate's activities.

Able to provide a bespoke package which suits your group, we can cover the whole shebang including food and beverages: breakfast, home-made afternoon cakes and Champers, a posh three course dinner, a BBQ or simply fish 'n chips from our local chippy.

As our hospitality venue is available only on an exclusive use basis, you can be guaranteed of our full and dedicated attention. Should you wish to make the most of this beautiful Scottish Renaissance castle feel free to take it in its entirety for the weekend with its 8 luxurious bedrooms.
