If you are looking for residential conference venues or meeting venues near Edinburgh, Winton House offers modern meeting facilities in a superb setting.

Winton is a truly inspiring meeting venue near Edinburgh, well away from a busy office, and ideal for developing new teams or for strategy sessions. It's particularly popular with groups of 10 to 30. We regularly welcome guests from the financial, drinks, utility and vehicle sectors.

The House would be your very own castle for the duration of your stay:

• complete peace and quiet for creative thinking and getting to know your colleagues.

You can mix meetings with some of Winton's activities like clay pigeon shooting, wine & Champagne tasting, croquet or a Winton Highland Games.

Whatever, you decide to do, you'll build up an appetite for one of Winton's memorable dinners prepared by our chef with fresh local produce. Choose from our selection of fine wines. Relax after dinner with a malt or liqueur by playing traditional games like Shoolin, Scrabble or Backgammon in front of a roaring fire in the Library or Drawing Room.

A full Scottish cooked breakfast including fresh fruit, pastries and cereals, served in the fifteenth century vaulted cellar, will fortify you in the morning.

Overnight accommodation options

Winton House has 8 bedrooms over two floors and can sleep up to 16 (with sharing):

• The first floor has 5 bedrooms (2 x four poster, 1 x double and 2 x interchangeable twins/ double), 3 bathrooms with 2 showers and sinks in 3 rooms.
• The second floor has 3 bedrooms (1 x two poster and 1x twin sharing large shower room and 1 double with ensuite).

There are three bathrooms for five bedrooms on the first floor and two bathrooms for three bedrooms on the second floor. All guests are provided with bathrobes and slippers. See more on Winton House’s bedrooms.

For larger numbers we also have two 4 and 5 star lodges, Wintonhill Farmouse and Winton Cottage, within a two minute drive. Across all 3 properties, there are 19 bedrooms in total (or 14 bedrooms with private bathrooms). With double occupancy the properties can accommodate 36 people.

• Wintonhill Farmhouse has 6 bedrooms (2 double and 4 interchangeable twin/double) and four bathrooms with baths and showers. With double occupancy Wintonhill can sleep up to 12.
• Winton Cottage has 5 bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. With double occupancy Winton Cottage can sleep up to 10.
