The favourite drives are
the Castle Drive, the Larches
and the Roundel.
Many of the woodland strips were originally laid out for a classic low ground shoot. These have been expanded and added to with game strips to provide for a varied and professionally run shoot for driven birds or a walked-up day. As part of the conservation management of the Estate, there is now a growing wild bird population and the ponds that have been created allow for exciting duck flighting.
There are two shooting syndicates on the Estate. Let days are also available for visiting parties and can be offered as part of a package to include the use of Winton House for reception, dinner, and accommodation. Alternative self-catering accommodation is available at Wintonhill Farmhouse and other Estate properties.
