Whether novice or experienced gun, the excitement of clay pigeon shooting can be experienced under the expert tuition of Billy Gordon, 22 times Scottish champion, twice Irish champion, and once British Champion. Billy is a natural tutor and both novices and experienced guns quickly benefit from his sharp eye. He is also a local, East Lothian man.
Recently extended and improved to make them as realistic as possible, Winton's clay pigeon stands range from the Pigeon Pair, Whistling Woodcock and Running Rabbit, to High Pheasant, Towering Teal and Exocet. Billy will also entertain you with his novel shooting displays.
The clays at each of these stands can be adjusted to provide both easy and challenging shots to develop and test shooting techniques. Typical options are three to five stands over a 2-3 hour period, or a full day with lunch, starting with some practice shots, then into competition mode. Prizes include bottles of whisky or private shooting lessons!
We can easily cater for groups of 10-20, as well as for large groups of up to 40. Private tuition is also available for individuals, groups and shooting clubs.
