Winton House has 8 bedrooms over two floors and all bedrooms (or family groups) will be allocated a private bathroom. All guests are provided with bathrobes, slippers, towels and toiletries:
- The first floor comprises 5 bedrooms (2 x four poster, 1 x double and 2 x interchangeable twins/ double), 3 bathrooms with 2 showers and sinks in 3 rooms.
- The second floor comprises 3 bedrooms (1 x two poster and 1x twin sharing large shower room and 1 double with ensuite).
(Due to our A-grade listing and 350 year old plasterwork, not all bedrooms are ensuite).
Set in the heart of East Lothian countryside, the House is 45 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and only 30 minutes from the city centre. Nearly all of East Lothian's golf courses can be reached within 15 to 20 minutes: Longniddry, Craigielaw and Gullane.
Winton House has a relaxed ambience, despite its grand architecture and unique collection of artwork. There are open fires and cosy sofas, and guests have the freedom to wander around at their leisure. Although we do not provide 24-hour service, there is usually a host on-hand to look after your needs.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide evening meals. However, there are several good local restaurants; for some ideas, please look in the Eating & Drinking section.
Larger groups can be accommodated in the nearby 4 star six bedroom Wintonhill Farmhouse with 4 bathrooms or in 5 star Winton Cottage providing 5 bedrooms with 5 private bathrooms.
